How to Raise a Redneck...The Proper Way

I don't mean that literally, first of all. But some people have made the comment "wow, your son is such a redneck..." after hearing some crazy story about him. So that is where this title stems from. Although, I find that my son is more of a "country boy" than an actual redneck...there is a difference people. I'm from Kentucky, trust me on this.
I've noticed somethings that are so different between my son and some of my friends kids that live primarily in the city. From their immune systems to how they act in general. It's a wide range of differences. So, here is my list of things to keep in mind if you are trying to raise a cute little country feller...

WARNING: Some of these things are strictly country things, DO NOT attempt in the city or in subdivisions...unless you like citations and jail time.

  • When nature calls, let him answer.
    • Seriously. If you're outside, doing whatever it is that you do outside, and your little boy is running happily around until he comes to a halt and you notice him doing the "I gotta pee RIGHT NOW dance"...let him pee on a tree. For real. Especially if you haven't fully house trained him yet. Just let him go with the flow. Figuratively...and literally. He isn't going to hurt anything, and it drastically improves their aim. I am not kidding right now, you'll think me later.
      • If you are in a State Park, do NOT allow your son to do this. It is illegal and those tour guides do NOT like it. Trust me. As hilarious and fun as it may seem for your 3 year old to pee off the side of the Grand Canyon, restrain him. Then hand him to your fastest runner and pray he can hold it. I know this from experience.
  • God made dirt, so dirt won't hurt.
    • I've consumed my fair share of dirt/mud in my younger days. As did my sister. And so has my son. Granted, it's not always intentional that you eat it, sometimes it just happens. So, if you catch your precious son making and eating mud pies, don't reprimand him too much. He'll be fine. Probably should make sure you keep a close eye on what it is that he's mixing in with that mud though.
  • What else are you supposed to do with a rain puddle, mud puddle, puddles in general...but stomp in them, roll around in them...of course.
    • If you have caught your son jumpin' in puddles until his jeans are completely soaked, or riding his bike through a puddle until he has a mud speckled back, then you're doing something right. One, he can ride a bike, I can barely do that. And two, he's doing what all little boys need to do sometimes. So what if he rolls around in it and probably is getting it in his mouth. Can't be no worse than eating mud pies. And everybody knows that a good cup of rain water makes those mud pies go down faster. Invest in rain boots, or gum boots. It'll save you money in socks.
  • In general, LET HIM GET DIRTY!!
    • I have two thoughts on this actually...
      • First thought is that clothes are washable. And replaceable. Let him mess them up. When they're young enough to WANT to go outside and play in the dirt, they're growing so fast that this is probably the 3rd and final time he's going to wear those $20 jeans anyways. Let him get good and dirty. I mean, covered head to toe in mud and water and God knows what else...then spray him off with the water hose and let him air dry. No kidding.  It's fun.
      • Second thought is longer...Of all my friends with kids, I am the only one raising her child to be a country heathen. And that's a lie. He's not going to be a heathen, just a wild, free, little country boy. All of them have perfectly dressed, "I can't touch dirt", fantastically groomed, clean as a whistle little boys. And they're precious. Then in comes my child in gum boots, jeans tucked in them, a random T-Shirt, with his T-Ball cap on backwards screaming "MOMMMMMMA!!! I'm gonna go find me some worms!!!". And their kids are often scared. Literally. Or the momma's are. But my son, my son has been sick twice this year, and has only had antibiotics once in his entire 6 years of life. Their kiddo's? Most have taken antibiotics AT LEAST once a year, every year, since the first year of life. Some take antibiotics more often a year. My son also rarely has colds, or the flu, or any other sickness. Whereas the others? Always sick, especially after playing with new kids or going to a new babysitter/daycare. So, in my opinion, there IS something good in letting your kids play in mud and creeks and Lord help us if we ever find out what else. Builds up their antibodies at a young age..in my opinion. I don't know though, I don't have a Ph.D, I'll fake it though.
  • Let him shoot stuff.
    • Now, I'm not saying go out and arm your posse of neighborhood kids. I'm saying if they decide to play cops and robbers/cowboys and Indians...it's ok for them to point a plastic gun at each other and play dead. Just teach them that with toy guns, it's ok. But real guns, it's a big no-no. They will understand more than you think. And I'm sure nobody is leaving loaded guns laying around for their kids to play with. If you need some plastic guns to try out...comment. I've got a whole arsenal. Some, complete with caps that will bust your eardrum allllll day long.
    • Also, if your bumpkin in training decides he wants to go hunting. Teach him. There is a million different ways to go about this, from classes to a crazy uncle. Er, nix the crazy part... It's good for him to be outside more often and to wait for different hunting seasons to come around, it's better than him sitting around playing one video game and waiting for another to be released. Also teaches him responsibility in a wildly different way.
  • Check his pockets...
    • Seriously. If you're already past all the upper points, then check those pockets. Because before too long, he'll be cramming every frog, worm and lizard that's not fast enough into them. (NOTE:: worms that have been through a complete washer and dryer cycle are really REALLY hard to get off other clothes once they've come out of said pockets...learning experience. Once this happens one time, you'll check his pockets FOREVER!)
    • When he brings home some little wonderfully slimy critter, it's ok for him to keep it a couple days. Just explain to him how said "pet" needs to go home to its family after a while. We've had worms, lizards, a million frogs, fish and lord knows how many lighting bugs take up residence in our house because of Brendon. Teach him that some animals are ok to pick up, but some (snakes, spiders, other things that can be deadly) are not. Show him pictures of these animals and explain why they're "No-No's". But don't be surprised if he brings you a garter snake and promptly demands you find a home for "Frankle" so he can stay in YOUR house...yeah, good luck with that...
  • Let him strip down.
    • If he's outside, and you have no close or creepy neighbors, it's ok for him to run around with just his shorts on. Or, in my son's case up until he was 5.5, just his unders. I'm not sure what the urgency and/or desire to be outside half nude is for a male, but they never truly outgrow that. Get used to it. It's ok. Especially if it just rained and there is a big ole mud hole in the front yard. One less shirt you gotta wash.
    • Let him go barefoot. And if its been awhile for you...go barefoot with him.
  • Get him a dog.
    • No boy is complete without a dog. Get him a big ole mutt, or a long eared coon hound. Best dogs for a little boy ever. They'll be best friends, and that dog will protect him more than you think. They'll always be by each others side, and have each others back. It's a precious thing, to watch your son sitting outside playing in the dirt with an old coon dog laying out in the son keeping a watchful eye on him. There's no greater bond than between that of a boy and his dog or a boy and his brother. But a dog doesn't take his toys, and a dog can't tattle on him. It also teaches them responsibility at an early age when you make them feed/water/clean up after the dog...even though you'll go right behind him and do the job right, it makes him feel grown up.

These are just some points I've picked up in the past 6 years. Yes, my son may seem a little wild at times to some people, but he says "please", "thank you", "ma'm" and "sir" and is always ready to help somebody. He may be wild at heart, but that heart is pure gold.
Look outside at your son running around and playing. Does he have on boots (any kind)? Jeans? Random T-shirt that you're really not sure where it came from? Baseball hat? Yes, you get more points if he's got some dirt on him, and double the points if he's covered in head to toe with mud or water where you just sprayed him down... Congratulations, You're well on your way to properly raising your own country bumpkin...that, or you might be a redneck yourself.

With Love & Laughter.
God Bless.

The Run Down...

So here's the thing, there are a lot of important people in my life. A LOT. I talk about them a lot to others, they frequent most of my stories, therefore they will more than likely be blogged about. Typically in the middle of a story when I get to a part where one of these people are mentioned and my listener has no idea who they are, they interrupt me to ask. So I tell them, just to have them continue asking questions about said person. Making my 5 minute story last about 30 minutes. Ok, that's a lie. I've never told a 5 minute story UNLESS it lasted 30 minutes. I talk a lot and I love details. Anyways, so that annoys me. My solution to avoid any confusion as to who is who in my blogs is to do a post where I give a "run down" of all these commonly talked about important people in my life. Feel free to reference it if you get lost sometime later...I forget who is who sometimes too.

Onwards!...

*Brendon Christopher Lee Holder-- my darling 6 year old son. Also referred to as "Bitty"...there's a story behind that, that I will blog about later on. Full of fun, energy, humor, wise cracks, and as I often tell him--poop. ha. I will probably post about him a lot. And I mean A LOT. He's my numero uno, and my pride and joy.

*Joshua Clay Spencer-- my loving fiance. Also referred to as "my man", "Stud Muffin", Josh, Joshie, plus other lovey dovey nonsense. Mostly full of poop and wisecracks. lol. Not really, but kind of. Brendon definitely has picked up on his smarty pants comebacks and jokes, which I'm usually the butt of. But he's my love. He does wayyyyyy too much for me and usually spoils me. Great man, I couldn't have found anybody better if I looked for the rest of my life. I can't wait to become Mrs. Joshua Clay Spencer in September. Even though I know he will spend the rest of our lives tormenting and harassing me, I wouldn't trade him for the world.

*My dad & mom-- aka: Poppy & Mimi. ahhh...too much to say about my parents. They tend to stress me out often and make me angry. But I love them. And we'll leave that, at that.

*My sister, Destany-- aka: Aunt Des, evil babysitter, The Brat. 18 going on 25, or so she thinks. She's my ONLY sister, my baby sister, and stands at least 8 inches taller than me. I was beginning to think she was adopted, too bad she got to look so much like my nanny, or I would have for sure doubted her.

*My Papaw-- aka: Papaw. This man does so much for me and Brendon it's ridiculous. He can be a real hard a$s at times, but he's nothing but an all around softy.

*My Aunt & Uncle-- Melissa & Jeff. Jeff is my dads brother and only sibling, Melissa is his wife. They live a few hours away from us so I don't see them often. Some of my family that I miss the most. Me and Jeff (aka: Bubby (to me anyways)) are super close. Always have been. Probably because my Papaw and Nanny raised me and he was fairly young when I was born, so guess who got the greatest babysitting job EVER?! HE DID! ;) He's always there for me when I need him. So because I'm so close to him, I'm pretty close to his wife Melissa as well. She's an awesome woman. I couldn't have asked for a better aunt, ever. I mean, she puts up with this crazy family with out even so much as blinking an eye. She's pretty tough, but I love her to death. Definitely my favorite aunt and she's a fantastic mother.  They have two sons: Josh & Justin. I tend to call Josh "Waterback"...that's another long story that I'll have to blog about so ya'll don't think I'm racist or something, cause I'm totally not.
--Josh is my sisters age, 18. He's incredibly intelligent (gets it from me, obviously) and is getting ready to head off to college. It's weird to think about it because I remember when he was a little thing and driving me crazy. I love him though, and he's going to be a great man, I can't wait to see him become such an awesome man. My Aunt & Uncle have done such a fantastic job raising him, it's amazing.
--Justin is younger than Destany & cousin Josh, but older than Brendon. I CONSTANTLY forget how old he is. I have no clue why. I think it's cause I rarely get to see him and he's soooo smart in such unfathomable ways that it makes him seem older than what he is. I still think he's like 7, but I know he's older than that. He's tall and skinny, like my Uncle, and has this crazy strip of freckles across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. Totally precious. But don't let that deceive you, he can be a handful. But he's too cute to be mad at. Brendon has that same sprinkling of freckles....when I saw that, I thought "omg...I'm going to have my hands full"...and that is true. But they're just boys through and through. And omg, soooo dang cute!

*My Nanny-- Rita Darlene Holder. aka: Nanny. My dad's momma. She passed away in 2002. THE most influential woman in my life, EVER. I think were so close because my daddy was so close to her. An amazing, caring, loving, classy woman that more people should have had the opportunity to meet. She made everybody's world a better place when she was alive. She was constantly the "peace keeper" and raised me. I owe every ounce of class, ingenuity, grace, common sense and love that I have in my body to this great lady. As well as my temper and caring nature. I know she's one of my guardian angels, and I talk to her often. I just wish she would have had a chance to meet Brendon, she would have spoiled him WAY more than what he already is, and my fiance. She would have loved him, and not just because I love him, but because he's so amazing and she saw the awesomeness in all people and loved them for who they were. Plus he would have been able to make her laugh, and she loved a good belly laugh almost more than anything. There is sooo much to say about her it's ridiculous. I'll have to have a special post for her sometime soon, so I'll save it all for that, otherwise I'll start crying and there's more people to mention... <3

*My Cousin Chris Joe-- He passed away in 2004, and is where Brendon's Middle name came from (Christopher). I will always refer to him as Chris Joe, although I probably won't speak of him a lot. Mainly because his death is an awkward, random story in my life that I am def not fond of and don't like to tell. But he was an amazing man through and through. Impacted my life while he was alive and continues to do so even after his death.

*My Great Uncle Tony-- My Nanny's Brother, and My Cousin Chris Joe's dad. Passed away recently, 2011. Both him and my Nanny had cancer, different forms though. He was such a wonderful man. I also wish more people could have met him. There's a lot of stuff I would like to say about him too, I'll have to have some future special posts.

****I have a HUGE family..it's insane...but those are all the really super close people to me. except for a couple others who will be mentioned later on cause they fit into multiple sections...****

Josh has a huge family too! It's crazy. this wedding is going to be INSANE with our families!...now for his.

*His Momma-- Cathy Spencer...aka: Momma Gosh (Brendon's name for her). Oh man, She's so awesome. I really got lucky with such an amazing future mother-in-law!! Seriously. Y'all have NO idea. She has 3 boys (more on the other two later) and a husband. No girls up until about 5-6 years ago. I don't know how she managed to stay sane, but I'm not going to attempt it. Josh is such an awesome person, he totally gets it from his momma. She did a fabulous job raising him and his brothers. It's insanely ridiculous the stuff she does day to day, but she does it all well and looks awesome while doing it. Omg, and she's such a great cook!!! It means so much to me how welcoming she was to me and Brendon. She literally claims Brendon as her grandson, even though there's no blood connection. I know that I can always turn to her if I need her or Brendon needs her, she's such a giving person and so faithful to the church, she's always there for somebody. Even if it's just to hand them a plate and tell them to make their self at home. And nobody turns her food down. I can't even begin to go into detail how much she means to me, I'll have to do a mothers day post and talk more about her and some others or this post will get so long nobody will read it all. But, I did get lucky, and got a friend as well as a mother-in law. Not many girls get that combo, so I'm blessed.

*His Daddy-- Daniel Spencer. aka: Daddy Gosh (also Brendon's naming skills). Honestly, I thought Daniel was mute for like 2 years. I literally NEVER heard him talk, or at least to me or in front of me. Seriously. Although Josh told me stories about some of the FUNNIEST things he had said. So I thought he didn't like me...but then on a trip to Tennessee one winter, I found out I would be riding from home to the cabin with him, and others...I was thinking "omg...what a LONG ride this'll be...great."...but he TALKED!!! I almost died. And then he said other funny stuff. He's great. And totally where Josh get's his sense of humor. I love it. And I love how every time I do hear him talk he either makes me cry or laugh so hard my stomach hurts. Literally. He's one of those great men that when they open their mouth to speak, YOU LISTEN! cause it's going to be something epic. He also does so much that I'm not sure how he's standing at the end of the day, which is probably why I see him asleep in the recliner a lot.. ;) ...But anyways, he's amazing. Hilarious most of the time but able to bring tears to your eyes occasionally. An all around great person and manly man. And if Josh turns out to be like him in the long run (and he will, WE ARE ALL SURE OF THIS!!) I'll be a very very lucky woman to claim him as my husband because he will be a great husband, father and man. I'm not sure if I've ever told him that I love him, but I do. It's just odd to say "I Love You" to someone who you don't actually talk to. I hope he knows that I do. Maybe I should work on that...

*His older brother and sister in law-- Daniel Joseph Spencer & Ashley Spencer. aka: Joey & Ashley. I love Ashley to death! Seriously! She's so down to earth and totally awesome. I can't wait until we're for real sister in laws. ha. And I love Joey too, even though we tend to have "spats" more often than not. I think because we're both pushy and stubborn, and demanding, and butt heads at times...but he's mostly pretty cool. And he dotes on Brendon. Like literally loves Brendon like his own nephew. It's crazy how welcoming this family is, but Brendon really loves Josh's bro's. And Joey seems to be able to get down on Brendon's level somehow and get him to do stuff (good and bad) that nobody else can. It's amazing. I can't wait until these two have kids, they will be great parents for sure. Joey & Ashley have recently taken over the youth group at church. They are fantastic with it too. It's crazy how great they are. The youth group has came so far since. I love how strong they are in their faith and how loving (and sometimes sarcastically mean) they are with each other. They have such a great relationship with each other and with God, I am still and probably will be forever in awe of it. Also, Ashley and I share the same "get of my face with you and your breakfast" thoughts in the mornings...so we get along just fine, just going by that alone. lol. I'm blessed to have them in my life. Even though Joey thinks I dissed him at Berrymans...when I totally did not! I was working...HELLLOOOOO! ;) I love you two.

*His younger brother and girlfriend and his girlfriends son-- Chase (not going to do his whole name cause I'll misspell it and he will be mad at me.) Spencer, Megan Perry & Skylar Perry. Chase & I had ag class together in High School...er, rather HE had ag class when we went to the farm and I commandeered his iPod while there. He's so funny. We were pretty good friends in HS, but haven't actually been such good friends as of late. I miss it. But it's ok, cause we're just getting old. He's the baby brother, but he's grown up so much in the past few years. I'm really proud of him in a lot of ways. His gf is actually my cousin! It's a small world. We don't get along for the most part, but I DO love her despite that and because she is my baby cousin. There's a lot of history and back story there, so I'm not getting into. I'll just leave that as it is. But I do love her because we're family, we're just not as close as we used to be and we've both changed a lot. But her son, Skylar, he's such a doll. I love him to death. And Brendon get's all "Big Bro" like when he's around Sky, it's annoying sometimes, but also hilariously cute. I'm proud of these two just for doing what they've done, they know what I'm talking about. I don't say it to them or anybody really, but I am, I guess that's just my foolish pride and stubbornness coming into play there.

*his Nanny & Papaw-- Janice & James Riddle. aka: Nanny & Papaw. Lord have mercy. These two are some of the funniest and awesomest people ever to walk the Earth. (and yes, I am aware awesomest is not a word...but it is for now.). And such great cooks!! And such giving, loving, caring, nurturing people. Well, for sure, Nanny is. Papaw, he's a tough nut to crack, but I'm working on that... But Nanny, omg, she could have been BEST FRIENDS with my Nanny. No doubt about it. If my Nanny were alive, between her and Nanny Josh, my wedding would have been planned and done with in a month. They're so much alike. I think that's why I love Josh's Nanny so much. She is everything a Nanny is supposed to be...great home cookin' included.

*His aunt's and their husbands and kids::
~Casey & Bryan--oh man, these two crack me up. They're both so funny. And they go so well together. I love it. Casey is the families "Gossip Central", which means she's nosey as all get out, but omg I love that about her. It suits her, and it shows how much cares about us all that she wants to know what we're up to. Cracks me up too. Bryan is just a fisherman and some kind of mechanic (which he's awesome at both! he saved my cars {and my} life!! he's great. need a mechanic?! get at him!!!).... ;) and a part time comedian...he's so funny. and sarcastic. He fits in with the other men in this family extremely well. And if they're all together, well, don't get near them or you WILL be the butt of their joke somehow. But I wouldn't trade these two for nothing. They make it seem like home with the bantering and gossip. Makes me feel comfortable and makes me laugh.
-Casey & Bryan have no kids. :((((( huge sad face. Because they'd be awesome parents. I can't wait until Casey has a baby! Omg. It'll be THE most precious thing. But until then, Casey is a perfect Aunt & Great Aunt (she is extremely close to all the boys. Josh thinks the world of her, and so do I). And I mean that. All the kids love her. And she spoils them, so duh, she's awesome. And I love her to pieces.
~Teresa & Svoy-- I don't see them often. But when I do get to see them, I love it and I love them.
-They have 2 sons. Austin & Lane. Austin is 17-18. and Lane is 13-14. I forget ages, they're just numbers, right? RIGHT?! They're pretty cool and awesome little men. And so Handsome. I wish we got to see them more often. Oh, and Brendon says Lane is his best friend, they "hang"...crazy kid.

>>There are so many other people in my life. Sheesh I know I've forgotten some. I've got one more to mention, and then I'm done for the night. I'll have to do a "all my gurrrrrls!" post later. Cause I can't leave out my ladies. There's just so much I'd like to say about everybody, it's insane. Plus, I don't really talk to most of my ladies a whole lot, mainly because we're alllll so busy and all have different crazy schedules to tend to. But I WILL post about them, because most are amazing women and hilarious to boot! :) <3 I love you all, so don't feel left out!

Final person.
*Brittany Coyle. She's one of my baby cousins. I mainly talk to her through text, every single day. Literally, she's the main reason I send/receive 15,000 texts a month! She is so awesome! So smart it's ridiculous. I love her. She's one of my biggest fans and talks me through a lot. I don't know where I'd be without her. Well, I'd be talking to myself for one. But, she's super funny and crazy as all get out. I'm glad she's family as well as a friend. I can truly count on her to be there for me when I need someone to lean on. She's got my back and I've got hers. She knows how I feel about her, so there's no reason to put it all on here. :) Just know that shes an ever present person in my life that I wouldn't trade for the world. I just wish we'd have gotten this close earlier on in our old age (yeah, you're officially an old woman Britt!!). ;) I love you girl.
I got you. <3

Ok. So, ummm, yeah. totally didn't mean for this to be THIS long. Sorry folks. :/ told ya I love details. I really need to work on saying this stuff to people more. I think I just really opened my own eyes to some stuff. hmmmm...ain't that something. Anyways, hopefully you didn't fall asleep back there somewhere between my family and Josh's. If ya did...well you ain't reading now, are ya?! But I do apologize.

With Love & Laughter.
God Bless.

Hi, My Name is LaShannon...and I'm a little bit country.

ahhh...blogging.  I honestly never thought that I would. But a good friend said I would make a decent author, which I'm too busy to actually try to write a book, so blogging it is! I'm going to make this post a "Introducing...Me!!" post. So here goes...

I am 22, I live in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky. Specifically the country. In a trailer. A small trailer. With my parents (don't judge me. real estate is crazy expensive around here and my fiance and I are looking for a place...don't judge me.), my younger (although 8 inches taller than me) sister, my 6 year old adorably country son, 3 dogs, a bunch of chickens, a horse and a recently acquired goat. Yep, it's crazy around here.

Reading is my passion. I love it. If I'm not online looking for something for my wedding or reading something online, then you can find me being all nerdish over a book. I read to my son often, whether he wants me to or not. I used to draw, a lot, but since I have an active 6 year old, it's hard to draw or do anything artistic unless it's arts & crafts time with him. But I'm ok with that. I also thoroughly enjoy photography. I photograph almost everything and will probably drive everybody crazy with my posts. I apologize in advance.

Now onto the number 1 passion in my life: Brendon Christopher Lee Holder. Yep, that's a long long name for such a little boy. And boy, it is a pain to yell it all out when I'm angry. I usually just stop at Brendon Christopher L....by then I'm out of breath. Born on December 14th in 2005, he's been my number 1 man for 6 years and counting. As often as his smarty pants comebacks and wittiness get on my everlasting nerve, he is quite the entertaining comedian. Hopefully he will make a career and I will never have to work again...wishful thinking, but oh well. Since he says he's going to be a mad scientist...at the moment anyways, a month ago he was going to be a country singer, and month before that he was going to be a horse wrangler/cowboy/rodeo star. Maybe something will stick, right now, it's mad scientist.

Brendon enjoys a lot of stuff. And I literally mean, A LOT! Here's a short list: horses, other animals, my fiance's doting family (they claim him as their own and fawn over him. Him being him, and loving attention like he does, he LOVES visiting them.), my dad (aka: Poppy), my sister (aka: Aunt Des, evil babysitter depending on mood), his coon dog, arts & crafts, school, movies, cowboy movies, video games, and just noise. No specific noise. Just noise. The louder and more irritating to others it is, the better. I guess that's a boy for you. Oh, and ZOMBIES!!! He absolutely loves anything and everything to do with zombies. And scary movies. Why you ask? Heck if I know. He is the offspring of a very peculiar woman...that may explain it. And he's 6. Anyways, he loves the show "The Walking Dead even though I have to make him cover his eyes on occasion, he still loves it. I love it as well, so we watch it together, along with other scary movies. (Now, understand this before I go farther...I do NOT allow my child to watch scary movies to torture his little brain and/or cause him to have nightmares. He, as of yet, has not had any nightmares...at all. Even though I have. I am incredibly picky when I do decide to let him watch one, and it is not even all that often that I do...Please do not think that I am a horrible mother who is going to give her child a complex of some sort...)

Now on to my number 2 passion...my fiance. He is literally the best. Awesomely epically heroic manly man of mine. That I often call Stud Muffin. Just to see his face turn red. :) ha. He is just amazing. I love him wholeheartedly and can not wait to marry him in September. <3 There's not much to say about him though. He loves hunting. literally loves hunting. I mean, he refused to get married in November because he was afraid I'd pick a day that he would be able to go hunting. Seriously. So, because I love him, I decided on September. We're both happy now. We're an odd couple. I'll continue to prove that point in future posts. Don't worry.
We met in middle school, never dated, until I needed a prom date our senior year in 2008. I forced him to be my date. Literally. FORCED the man to be my date. And we've been together ever since. Thank God for me being pushy. ;) Love his little blessed heart.

There are so many other "introductory" things I could mention in this post. But, I shall post about them later seeing as it's bath/homework/reading/bed time at my household. Hopefully those that do decide to follow me will enjoy my posts. If I'm doing it wrong, let me know! PLEASE!!!! I beg of you...help me if you think I need it. ;)
